4 Must Have Makeup Palettes

Happy Makeup Monday! I hope that your liner is winged to the gods and your lipstick is on point. Today I am sharing my four favorite makeup palettes that I can’t live without! They are perfect for fall and have a multi-purpose use!

  1. The Kay Von D Alchemist Highlight Pallet. This pallet is an intense highlighting one, but it is the perfect inner corner highlight for the eyes! It makes you look like your eyes are glowing.
  2. The Urban Decay Naked Heat Pallet. I’m sure that you have heard of this bad boy before, especially if you are a makeup lover like myself. This gorgeous pallet has all of the warm tone shadows that you will ever need for fall. It is seriously the best!
  3. The Morphe X Kathleen Lights Eyeshadow Pallet. This little baby is a dream come true. It has a nice mix between cool and warm tone shadows. So many different looks can be created with this pallet.
  4. The Tartelette in the Bloom Pallet. This little guy is your perfect everyday eyeshadow pallet, but if you have dark hair like me, a couple of these shades can double as eyebrow powders. I love a twofer!

You can never have enough makeup palettes!

Let me know if you would like to read a part two! I would be happy to post it for another Makeup Monday!! Let me know if you have any of these and which ones are your favs!

Stay Confident.

Product Review: L’Oréal Paris Voluminous Lash Paradise

Happy Makeup Monday! One quick question, if you could only choose one makeup product to wear for the rest of your life, what would it be? If it’s mascara, you might want to go pick this one up! I love mascara, and this one just knocked more than half of them out of the park. Today I am reviewing the L’Oreal Paris Voluminous Lash Paradise mascara. The color that I picked up is blackest black.

Packaging:

The tube is pretty heavy duty, a chic light pink look. Just simply gorgeous! The wand is pretty big and reminds me of the Better Than Sex mascara from Too Faced.

Formula:

The mascara isn’t a wet consistency, it’s not dry, I feel as if it is perfect.

Moment of truth:

I rate this mascara a 5/5! It’s pretty amazing, as you can see for yourself. It gives me so much volume, length, and color payoff.

Have your tried this mascara? If so, do you like it?

Stay beautiful.

Skin Care Product Review!

So fresh and so clean, clean.

Oh, sorry, I can’t help but sing that song every time that I use this AMAZING charcoal face mask! Hello everyone, I am here with a product review for you all! I received this product over the weekend and wanted to test it out and use it a couple of times before I gave my final thoughts.

This product is the TaraLee Natural Beauty, Charcoal Face Mask. This is only one of the MANY products featured in her shop! Her ingredients are all found in nature and her mission is to create a healthier and natural living lifestyle for all of us!! She was kind enough to send this mask to me so that I could test out for all of you and share my opinion on the product and how well it works. So without further ado, let’s jump it.

I would first like to comment on the smell of this mask, if you like citrus scents, than you are going to LOVE this one. I have tried quite a few of charcoal masks and they do not smell pleasant at all. It’s a good citrus, not too over powering, yet you know what it is.

When I first get a new product, it doesn’t matter what kind, I always test it on the back of my hand. I would recommend it, you never know what you could be allergic too. Once I have tested it, I always wash my face before applying any mask. You want to make sure that you have a clean base, that way it makes it easier for the product to do its job. Most of the time I usually apply the mask where I have the most break outs, but when I know that I need a good cleaning, I go crazy with it.

Charcoal masks are suppose to bring out all of the dirt and whatever is in your pores and under your skin. I find that a lot of those types of masks make my face look worse before it gets better. Not only that, but they are very hard to rinse off. I don’t know how she did it, but this one DID NOT! It seriously cleared my face up within just a couple of days. The first time I made sure to apply it everywhere and when I did I thought, “here comes the breakouts!”. Guess again, not a single one and it came right off the first rinse around. This seems too good to be true, let’s give it another go. This time I only applied it to where I know that I often get breakouts. You have got to be kidding me, I could walk out of the house right now and only have on my freckles and a smile. Perfectly fine with me! If I may add one more thing, a little goes a long way with this product.

I will surely be purchasing this product a long with a few others. She has such a variety of skin care products to choose from. She has everything from body and face washes to personal and oral care. I highly recommend for you to check it out. I will leave all of her links down below, as well as mine.

So, if I am putting a number on this mask, I would give it a 5/5. If you done believe me, be sure and try it out for yourself. She was kind enough to give you 10% off at checkout, use the promo code BEAUTYMEETSNATURE in all caps. Be sure and let her know that I sent you. Thank you for that TaraLee, that was real sweet of you!

That brings us to the end of this product review. I hope that you enjoyed it and I will talk to you next time!

Makeup storage

Here is my little makeup set up that I have done myself. Why pay a bunch of money for a vanity, I bought my desk at a garage sale for $30. I plan on painting it along with my chair and making it look new. As of now this is my set up. I hope that you like it.

My chair is just an old kitchen table chair, my table broke so I kept one chair to sit and do my makeup. I want to up cycle my whole set up, just don’t know what I am going to go with yet. My ring light I got off of amazon for about $70. I absolutely love this bad boy! I will leave the link down below. Defiantly worth the money if you have it.

Take a look into my single eyeshadow drawer!
Here is a little zoom in on what is on top of my desk. To the right I have my little drawer that holds my single eyeshadows and pigments. On top of that are my speakers, I love to listen to music constantly. I also have some pallets that I use often or that I need to remember to use. I have a ring holder and a pencil hold with some hair ties and Bobby pins. Next to that are two pink containers that I got at hobby lobby, they hold my brushes in them. To the left of those is a container holding some blushes and highlighters, I keep them out because they don’t fit into the drawer of the desk. Moving on to the bigger box in front of that one is my everyday makeup container. I keep those products together so that I am not constantly looking for what I need, it does change pretty often though. Next is just some of my favorite hair products, I am think about posting a blog about all of those and more details about them. On top of the three drawer unit is all of my foundations, I am constantly trying new brands and different foundations. Finally, the three drawer unit that you see holds all of my lip products! I would have to say  that lippies are my favorite makeup products to purchase. Here is a peek of what is inside.

Top drawer.

Second drawer.

Third drawer.

Next is inside my desk! This is where I keep my face powders, blushes, eyeshadow pallets, eyelashes, and concealers! And that is all of this tour! This is just a little before tour before I fix up my desk and chair and move it all into my (coming soon) beauty room! I hope that you all enjoyed it. Be sure to follow me on here and all of my social media! We can become friends and I am always up for a collaboration.
