5 Favorite Walmart Purchases

I have not been this excited to write a blog post in a very long time. Today I was posting a few of my favorite products on my Instagram stories, but then realized that they were all from Walmart. SO I had the best idea to create a blog post for you and leave all of the links so you can get your hands on them as well.

So as you keep reading, you are going to discover my favorite Walmart purchases! I hope that you enjoy this post. I plan on writing a part two and maybe even turn this into a series.

  1. Pioneer Woman Slow Cooker $29.84 Marked Down from $39.99
This bad boy saves me from slaving over the stove in this Bakersfield heat! I love it and use it any chance that I get. There are plenty of crock pot recipes on Pinterest to try out. Follow my crock pot board for inspiration.

2. McCormick Garlic and Herb Black Pepper and Sea Salt $3.74

I use this guy in everything that I cook. It’s soooooo good. Take my word.

3. Stovetop Kettle $19.48 Marked Down from $24.00

She’s Bad. I’m a little old school when it comes to my coffee. I love using a stovetop kettle.

4. Pioneer Woman Knife Set $49.97 Marked Down from $59.97

This isn’t my photo, but I do own this knife set and now can’t live without it. Thank you Pioneer Woman, you are life goals.

5. Better Homes and Gardens Candles $6.97

These candles are amazing! They are super affordable, smell great, and fill up the house. I love the Bath and Bodywork candles, but they can get pretty pricy. At Walmart, I can get four for the price of one. Who doesn’t love a good save?

I hope that this post has inspired you to shop your local Walmart very soon, I love Target, but sometimes you can’t beat Walmart prices. If you have any of these products, let me know what you think of them. Also, I would love more Walmart recommendations.

Today I am sharing some of my favorite masks with you. This summer, I have been all about, and these products have helped me along the way.

  • Olay Glow Boost Mask – This baby is perfect for giving my skin that glow when it’s looking dull – $10.79

  • Proactiv Skin Purifying Mask – This is an ideal mask to keep your clear skin, even more, clear – $38
  • Deep Down Detox Mask – This is just an excellent purifying mask, nothing more to say, except the fact that it is currently on sale for $5.95
  • Dead Sea Mineral Anto-Stress Mask – I like to use this mask after a long day, it clears the skin while hydrates it at the same time – $4.29

My Favorite Vitamins

Now that I am getting older, this is the perfect time to make sure that I am taking my vitamins. I am mezmorized by these Thrive Thyroid and Metabolism vitamins.

These Eu Natural Products are perfect for me. I have been going to the gym a lot more and theis will help to regulate my metabolism and promote hormonal balance.

They are vegetarian and gluten-free.

I picked up my Thrive vitamins from Amazon

Make sure to check out the other vitamins that are sold from Eu Natural.

Favorite Native Products

When I find amazing products, I have to share them with you. I have discovered a new brand and I’m living for it!

  • Body Wash
  • Deoderant
  • Mini Deodorant
  • 2 Bar Soaps

These products are sulfate and paraben free! I love products that are made with safe ingredients. Did I mention that they are also cruelty-free?

I’ve received the starter pack from Native, which retails at $30. That isn’t bad for all of these products, plus they have more to choose from. They have different products from toothpaste to body wash.

Make sure that you head over to Native!

5 Tips for Bloggers Taking Photos in Public

As a blogger in a city that isn’t Los Angeles, I get a lot of weird looks from people when I am taking blog photos in public. When I first started blogging, those look from people would bother me so bad, I wanted to stop taking photos and go home. Now I could care less about what people think of me, especially when I am posing to get that perfect shot. In this post, I am going to share 5 tips on how to feel more comfortable when it comes to taking photos in public. If you are someone that is a beast when it comes to taking photos in public, then congrats, you’re winning at life. IMG_5577 2IMG_5578IMG_5584IMG_5590IMG_5591

Tip #1

My first tip is to remember that you most likely won’t ever see the people that are staring at you again. If you ever happen to run into them on another day, there is a good chance that they are not going to remember you.

Tip #2

Take someone with you that you are comfortable around. With them encouraging you, it makes it that much easier to smile, take a great photo, and have an amazing time.

Tip #3

Try to start out somewhere that doesn’t have a ton of people, but still in public. For example, go to a park to take some photos, compared to a coffee shop downtown. Ease your way into it.

Tip #4

Practice makes perfect! The more that you go out in public and take photos, the more comfortable you will feel.

Tip #5

My last tip is just to have fun! Remeber that you are taking these photos for you and your audience. You’re not taking them for the random person walking by. You are obviously passionate about these photos, so anyone else’s opinion shouldn’t matter, so just have fun!

I hope that these tips helped you out a little. I would love to know any tips that you have, leave them in the comment section!

5 Plus Size Clothing Stores That I Love!

As a plus size woman myself, I know how tough it can be to find clothes that fit in the right places. I have searched high and low for these stores and I am glad that I found them. Let’s jump in!

Torrid

If you have been following me or my blog for some time now, then this should come as no surprise that Torrid is my first favorite store. They are a great company, I love the way all of their pieces fit my body, and they have so many different styles. Every time I walk into the store, the ladies all make me feel so welcome! I just can’t get enough, they are a little on the pricey side, but the quality is worth the money.

Charlotte Russe+

Some people don’t know this, but Charlotte Russe has an incredible plus size section! I always find all sorts of great pieces there, along with shoes, jewelry, and hats! Their pieces are more trendy and for those that are willing to wear off the shoulder tops. I also love the quality of their pieces.

Forever 21 Plus

This store must be everyone’s favorite store! The Forever 21 here in Bakersfield is huge! I can see why; they have amazing prices, they have soo many options, and they cater to so many different styles. I can find just about anything there. I am in love! Did I mention that they have an amazing price point? Oh, yes I did hehe.

Target

Target has some amazing pieces that are very comfortable! I am in love with their plain T-shirts! They also have the most amazing dresses, so adorable! And who doesn’t love target?? Just the thought of eating popcorn while shopping gets me excited.

Ross Dress for Less

If you have a Ross, I strongly encourage you to stop in and check out what they have available. They have amazing prices, they have comfortable clothes, and also cater to so many different styles and sizes. I find items in there as low as two dollars. I love fashion, but I also love saving a buck or sixty if I can.

If you have made it to the end of this post, this I reward you with a virtual high five! Thank you for sticking around. If you have any recommendations for me, I would love to read them in the comments! I am always looking for new places to try!

Favorite Skin Care & Lifestyle Products

Skin care is very important to me, (also white teeth). I am 25 now and am not getting any younger! I need to take care of my skin while I still can. These amazing products are helping me along the way.
  • Freeman Beauty Purifying avocado+oatmeal Clay Mask
  • ELF Illuminating Eye Cream
  • ELF Daily Hydration Moisturizer
  • Smile Brilliant Teeth Whitening Gel

These amazing, cleansing towelettes, have changed the way that I think of makeup removing wipes completely! I have repurchased them three times. Can you tell that I like them?

Bath and Bodyworks can never do wrong in my eyes. I have been obsessed with these two scents ever since I purchased them about a month ago. They smell like Heaven!

Last, but certainly not least, this product is a game changer. I have a problem with really dry feet. It’s so bad that it hurts to walk sometimes. Ever since I have started using this product, my feet don’t hurt. They don’t crack, they just feel so much better. I am so in love.
