Here are just a few inspirational books that have been getting me through some tough times. I hope that they can help inspire you as well.
I can’t describe the feeling exactly, but I can give it a shot. Setting goals for me is like my boss just walked in, and told me that I have a month off of work. Paid. Yea, let that one sink in just a bit. I don’t know what I would do without setting goals, and holding myself responsible for reaching those achievements.
I know that I have done achievement posts in the past, but I have a good feeling about this one. The new year is almost here and I need to make sure that I am prepped for all of the amazing opportunities that I am going to give myself. So grab a cup of tea, shit is about to get real.
I am sure that you have heard this one thousand times before, but this year is going to count. I feel major changes coming and with these goals, they are going to come to life!
– My 2018 Achievements-
1. Take a walk
Walking can clear your mind so that you can see the world around you. Inspiration is everywhere, you just need to open your eyes.
2. Go somewhere different
If you normally go to a Starbucks every morning, try the locally owned coffee shop downtown instead.
3. Read a book
I know that you have a book in your room that you have been meaning to read, but have never gotten to it. Read it! So much inspiration can be on the first page.
4. Take a vacation
Even if you just go somewhere for the weekend. Get out of the town that you are in and go explore.
5. Change the screen saver on your phone
I know that this may sound a little silly, but I can’t tell you how many times that I have been inspired by someone’s wallpaper on their phone.
6. Create a vision board
Creating a vision board of everything that you want in life, or the things that make you smile can really change your mood.
It doesn’t matter if I am shopping or window shopping, it always inspires me. Grab your shopping buddy and go!
8. Listen to music
Listen to your favorite music! I love me some 80’s and 90’s country!
9. Listen to a podcast
There are so many inspirational podcasts out there, pick one!
10. Talk to your favorite person
Talking to someone that you love can really help shift the mindset.
