Today’s Work it Wednesday is all about self-love. I know that having self-confidence can be a struggle, trust me, been there and don’t want to go back. So here are 15 affirmations that you can read to yourself as often as you would like, just to give your confidence a little boost and feel better about yourself. You don’t need to depend on someone else to tell you how amazing you are. What better person to tell you then well, you?
I believe in you! Try reading these to yourself every morning when you wake up. Make your own day! Don’t wait for someone else to make you smile.
Which affirmation is your favorite? Comment it down below, I can’t wait to read them. Until next time! Spread positivity.
I was never really a jewelry person before. I would wear the same ring and necklace every day. The older that I got, the more that I would experiment with jewelry. Now I am constantly trying out different, affordable pieces. Exploring the many different styles, colors, shapes, and sizes. There is just so much to choose from and so much to look at!
In today’s post, I have partnered up with a friend of mine, Shannon, to bring you a giveaway! She is giving away a $25 credit to her shop! All of the rules to be entered are listed down below, so make sure that you go check them out!
What I love about her shop the most is that there is so much to choose from! Not only can you find affordable jewelry there, but she also carries a selection of home decor pieces such as; garlands, wreaths, and wood signs. Check out this awesome Goal Digger sign that I keep in my office! Cute right? I am so in love with it! It’s adorable and inspirational.
When I received my items, everything was nicely packaged and looked so presentable. Seriously, how cute is her logo?
This giveaway will run for one week. It will close on Monday, August 7th.
To be entered you must do the following:
Every Monday morning I sit down with my coffee, listen to a podcast, and write a list of everything that I need to accomplish for the week. That's normal right? As the week goes by, I will cross off everything that I have done on that list. Well when I look at that list at the end of the week, I get so pissed off at myself when I look at everything that is still unaccomplished.
One morning while I was sipping my amazing coffee, I was listening to the Style Your Mind podcast, hosted by Cara Alwill Leyba. She explained that she writes a celebration list. At the end of every day or every week, she will write down everything that she had accomplished during that time. So instead of kicking herself, she celebrates herself for all of her hard work.
What a brilliant idea! I will make two separate lists, one for everything that needs to be done for the week, and another for all of my celebrations! If I keep throwing out negative thoughts out into the universe about my list, guess what the universe is going to hit me with?
Just some more fashion inspiration for you! I hope that you like it!
My dress is from Lane Bryant and my shoes are from Journeys.

My favorite types of podcasts are the entrepreneurial motivational ones. I love to listen to them when I am cleaning my house when I am getting ready, and when I am driving. Those are the times that I am really focusing and paying attention. For the most part, I love listening to music, but there are times when I need a pick me up and need to listen to something different. These five podcasts are ones that I know that I can count on helping out in some type of way. If I am ever feeling uninspired, they will bring back that spark that was running just a little low.
So with out further ado, here are the podcasts that have been changing my perspective and my life
Cara Alwill Leyva is a bestselling author, a life coach, and the host of Style Your Mind Podcast. She answers questions about being an entrepreneur and interviews some of the baddest bitches when it comes to business. She is all about women coming together and helping each other rise up. She gets behind the scenes of how the business became about and how it has risen.
Lindsey Teague Moreno is a wine loving momtrepreneur that loves sharing tips on business while maintaining her family. Her podcasts are on the shorter side, so if you are someone that only has 10 minutes to get ready, then she is the perfect person to listen to.
Julie Solomon hosts an innovative podcast that really walks you through; blogging, marketing, social media, growth, and influence. As she talks with other influencers, they help you understand what being an entrepreneur is really all about.
Emily Thompson and Kathleen Shannon are all about being you 100% of the time and building an empire. Their podcasts are all about; mindset, habits, tactics, and lifestyle. If you are a creative entrepreneur, this podcast has your name written all over it.
This last podcast is hosted by the amazing Rachel Hollis. She is the author of one of my all time favorite girl book series. On her podcasts, she interviews some amazing creators, such as Joy Cho and Mary Renner Beech. I love how she really connects with each person that she interviews and makes you want to keep listening.
If you have a podcast of your own or just one that you love let me know, I will check them out! Who knows, I may be starting my own podcast soon.
