I know that I don’t share much of my family, but here you go! Meet the Woggn’s.
She is so adorable! She is only sixteen years old and she is one of the hardest working bloggers that I know! She is always creating amazing content and she always has a smile on her face!
Victoria is vintage fashion goals!!! I love her blog and her Instagram feed is stunning! She can rock just about anything and everything! Most definitely a fashion inspiration.
If you love everything pink, pretty, and perfect than she is the blogger for you! She is the sweetest person and she knows what she is doing when it comes to her fashion and Instagram.
If you don’t already know, Aspyn isn’t a blogger, she is also a well known YouTuber. She and her husband make the perfect team! They travel the world together while taking amazing fashion photos!
The name of her blog says it all! Rachel is a hard working mom and knows how to dress! She is hands down my favorite fashion blogger. I get so excited when I see her posts appear in my inbox. She is also another blogger that can rock any look that she can find. Did I mention that she is Jaclyn Hill’s sister?
Every Monday morning I sit down with my coffee, listen to a podcast, and write a list of everything that I need to accomplish for the week. That's normal right? As the week goes by, I will cross off everything that I have done on that list. Well when I look at that list at the end of the week, I get so pissed off at myself when I look at everything that is still unaccomplished.
One morning while I was sipping my amazing coffee, I was listening to the Style Your Mind podcast, hosted by Cara Alwill Leyba. She explained that she writes a celebration list. At the end of every day or every week, she will write down everything that she had accomplished during that time. So instead of kicking herself, she celebrates herself for all of her hard work.
What a brilliant idea! I will make two separate lists, one for everything that needs to be done for the week, and another for all of my celebrations! If I keep throwing out negative thoughts out into the universe about my list, guess what the universe is going to hit me with?
My favorite types of podcasts are the entrepreneurial motivational ones. I love to listen to them when I am cleaning my house when I am getting ready, and when I am driving. Those are the times that I am really focusing and paying attention. For the most part, I love listening to music, but there are times when I need a pick me up and need to listen to something different. These five podcasts are ones that I know that I can count on helping out in some type of way. If I am ever feeling uninspired, they will bring back that spark that was running just a little low.
So with out further ado, here are the podcasts that have been changing my perspective and my life
Cara Alwill Leyva is a bestselling author, a life coach, and the host of Style Your Mind Podcast. She answers questions about being an entrepreneur and interviews some of the baddest bitches when it comes to business. She is all about women coming together and helping each other rise up. She gets behind the scenes of how the business became about and how it has risen.
Lindsey Teague Moreno is a wine loving momtrepreneur that loves sharing tips on business while maintaining her family. Her podcasts are on the shorter side, so if you are someone that only has 10 minutes to get ready, then she is the perfect person to listen to.
Julie Solomon hosts an innovative podcast that really walks you through; blogging, marketing, social media, growth, and influence. As she talks with other influencers, they help you understand what being an entrepreneur is really all about.
Emily Thompson and Kathleen Shannon are all about being you 100% of the time and building an empire. Their podcasts are all about; mindset, habits, tactics, and lifestyle. If you are a creative entrepreneur, this podcast has your name written all over it.
This last podcast is hosted by the amazing Rachel Hollis. She is the author of one of my all time favorite girl book series. On her podcasts, she interviews some amazing creators, such as Joy Cho and Mary Renner Beech. I love how she really connects with each person that she interviews and makes you want to keep listening.
If you have a podcast of your own or just one that you love let me know, I will check them out! Who knows, I may be starting my own podcast soon.
Before you even begin to think about what you want, you need to be thankful for what you have. Praise the hard working husband that works 12 hours a day to support the family. Be thankful for the car that you drive around. Be thankful for the house that you live in. Take a second to think back to the days when you were living in a shelter home, and be thankful that you aren’t there anymore. Knowing that your bills are going to be paid on time and your kids are going to be fed is something to be thankful for. Giving thanks is so important, because if you are not thankful for what you have, then why are you working so hard for something that is unappreciated?
Now that you have given thanks to your mom for being the best mother that she can be, it’s time to move on to the fun stuff! When setting goals, you need to keep a few things in mind. This is going to be very important when writing your goals out.
Take as much time as needed and write down your goals that need to be accomplished. It can be anything; to loose 30 pounds, get the house organized, reach 10,000 blog and Instagram followers. Big or small, write them all down. At this point it doesn’t really matter where they are written, we just need to make sure that we know where the list is in a little bit. You know what, I lied, it does matter where you write down these goals. How about printing out the goals list that I have created for you! Setting goals is fun, isn’t it?
Here you go:
Now that you have created your goals list, it is important to write down the steps that you are going to take to achieve those goals. No matter what the goal is, you need a plan of action! As promised, I have a third and final list for you! This will help you understand what it takes to get those goals accomplished. Print one of these for ever goal that you have.
It’s very important to keep these lists somewhere that you are going to see them every day. Put them in that important binder that you have. Tape them to the inside of your planner. Frame them or even put them on your refrigerator. Wherever you think will work the best, let them shine!
Now all that is left is to have a positive mind set and start crossing those bad boys off of your list! Before you know it, all of your goals will be achieved, and it will be time to make new ones. Have fun!
I got an overwhelming amount of love on my last #bossbabe post, so I hope that you love this one just as much. If you would like to know what my goals are, let me know. I would be more than happy to write a separate post just for them! Be sure to tell me how the lists worked out for you!
I would like to dedicate this post to my beautiful Aunt Cindy. Thank you for being the inspiration behind this post, I love you so much!
Inspiration is everywhere, I came up with this blog post idea in the gardening aisle of a Big Lots.
My hair goes through a lot. From the straightening and curling to the waving. My hair gets very dry, it needs a trim and a little drink sometimes. Trimming your hair every six weeks is probably the best thing for your hair. Unless of course you have very healthy hair and are just lucky like that. Unfortunately, that isn’t me and I need a trim. I like to go as often as I need it. I know that it’s time when my hair feels horrible at the ends and starts sticking together. After a nice trim, I like to go home and put a hot oil treatment on my hair. The best one that I have found is this Jamaican Mango & Lime Black Castor Oil with Coconut. I cannot tell you how incredible this product is! It smells amazing and can be used for so many different things! I put a generous amount into a microwavable bowl, heat it up for a minute, and then carefully apply it all over my hair. After it is all in and getting soaked up, I will leave it in for about an hour or two, and then wash it out.
After that is all washed out, I will spray a generous amount of the HnP Placenta Super Strength Leave-In Instant Conditioning Treatment. Woah, that was a mouth full, but so worth it. It is for extremely damaged hair and helps with the tangles. As you can see in the picture below, I have gone through quite a bit of it. Once that is in and my hair is brushed out before I blow dry, I will go in with the Turn Up The Heat Protection Spray. I have been using this heat protectant for years and can’t say that I have found one to replace it. When using this, I have to make sure that I don’t go crazy with it. If I spray too much, it will make my hair greasy and weigh it down. Seriously, after my hair is dry, it’s like I have a brand new head of hair. Shiny, soft, smells, and feels amazing!
For styling my hair, these three babies are all that I need. If I am curling my hair and need that extra little volume, I will spray some of the Not Your Mother’s Double Take Dry Finish Texture Spray. It just gives my hair that extra push that it needs.
Being that my hair is very dry, I don’t wash my hair every day. With that being said, I like to use one of two dry shampoos between washes. The first one is the Not Your Mother’s Beach Babe Texturizing Dry Shampoo. This stuff smells like I am at the beach, I have already gone through three bottles. I am obsessed, no joke. The other dry shampoo is the Mystic Divine Coconut Complex Texture Finishing Spray. If you haven’t already caught on, coconut and coconut oil is very good for the hair! All of these products are very affordable and AMAZING. I can’t live without them and I recommend them to all of you! If you have damaged hair or just want that extra shine!
