Lately, I have been all about my sleep; I love to get a good night’s rest so that I can have a productive next day. In today’s post, I’m sharing how I get a good nights sleep and what helps to sleep better.
STEP 1: I am a night time shower person. I love to take a shower to wash off everything from that day; it’s soothing to me. I love to take my time in the shower as well; I will play some music, listen to some music, or even do a little meditation.
STEP 2: After the shower, it’s skincare time! I wash my face, use a toner, eye cream, moisturize, and apply lip balm. I love how clean my skin feels once I am all done.
STEP 3: Time to hydrate, I will have some water before bed. I find that it is relaxing.
STEP 4: If I am in the mood, I will read a book, it helps me to get a little sleepier.
STEP 5: I am obsessed with this app that I found; it’s called Headspace. It is an app that helps with meditation, but it also tells stories and makes soothing sounds. I love to listen to the Midnight Launderette, there are washer and dryer sounds in the background, and the guy who tells the story has a very soothing voice.
STEP 6: After I listen to a few minutes of Headspace, I am usually out like a light!
